New DMD V is Optimised For Energy Saving

The new mobile dessicant dryer for free-flowing granules is optimised for energy saving.

The latest mobile desiccant dryer from Labotek sees a number of features to optimise its energy saving credentials including:

Moisture Dependant Regeneration System - Dessicant dryers have two chambers, each filled with the desiccant material which adsorbs water vapour from the compressed air. These chambers alternate between drying the process air and regenerating the desiccant. The Labotek DMD-V includes a control system to monitor the moisture content in the desiccant chambers so as to fully utilise the drying capacity of the dessicant bed while minimising energy loss from purge air and heating the regenerating dessicant.

The Labotek Energy Saving System (LESS) is designed to reduce drying costs by automatically monitoring and controlling the drying to prevent overdrying.
